Blended Learning Instructions:

The American Red Cross Blended Learning Courses (designated by a “-BL” at the end of the course title) have an online component to go along with the in-person class time. This is an assignment that students may work on at their own pace and complete anytime prior to the first day of class.

Step 1)

Two weeks before the start date of your course, the Blended Learning assignment will be entered into the Red Cross system.

Step 2)

Students, keep an eye out for an email from the Red Cross. Check your email for the sender "Salesforce". It honestly looks like spam and likely will end up in a spam folder.

Follow the directions in that email to set up your account.

If for some reason you can’t find that email, or you deleted it on accident, fear not, follow these next steps.

Step 3)

Please click the link below to be directed to the Red Cross Learning Center

https://www.redcrosslearningcenter.org

Step 4)

Click Login at the top right of the screen.

Step 5)

If you already have an account, maybe from a previous Red Cross class, go ahead and login.

If you don't already have an account, click "Forgot Password"

Step 6)

Enter the email you registered for the class with and hit send.

Check your email for the sender "Salesforce", it honestly looks like spam and might end up in a junk folder.

Step 7)

Create a password with the link provided in the email.

Step 8)

Go back to the Learning Center login page (or click this to be brought there) and enter the credentials you just made.

Step 9)

The course should then appear on your home page as well as listed on the "Classes" tab under the "Classes I'm Taking" section.

Launch and complete prior to the first day of class.

I know that was a lot, the Red Cross certainly doesn't like to make it easy. So don't hesitate to email or call me and I'll be happy to help you through it.
